Terms and Conditions of our Purchase, Delivery & Returns Policy
These Terms and Conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. Please read these carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and our Terms and Conditions do not affect these.

Making a purchase
By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use details for the purposes of supplying them, including passing your details on to couriers. You may receive special offers and promotional mail from us only; your information will not be passed to any other third parties.
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full.
If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact the Ashford Model Supply Centre immediately.
Our website is regularly updated, but if the price has changed after you have placed your order, we will contact you to ask if you wish to proceed.
At times we may need to place your order on backorder if we do not have your items in stock or you order an item that has a specific release date. We will notify you via email or text when the goods are in stock. You are entitled to cancel items on back order however you are required to inform us of this within 24 hours of receiving our email/text notification.
We aim to deliver goods (In stock) to you before or on the next working day, we dispatch Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesdays). We cannot give an exact delivery time. This is subject to you placing the order before 2pm (Monday to Saturday) if you find a defective or damaged item on delivery please inform us as soon as possible.
Please note it is your responsibility to inspect the package at the point of delivery. It is your responsibility, and your signature that certifies that the package has been received in good condition and undamaged. Do not allow your neighbours to take these decisions for you. Your package may be marked “To be signed for by addressee only” depending on the courier used.
Are sent either by Royal Mail or by Courier depending on the weight of the package.
Charges will be calculated at the point of sale for which you have total control of the process.
For items such as balsa wood or wire that is supplied in legnths in excess of 30"/750mm will be levied a surcharge against he whole package not exceeding the standard delivery charge of the chosen courier.
Please e-mail us with your order and we will quote you including postage. Make sure you give your full address so we can price the postage correctly.
It is difficult for us to know how long orders take to arrive so we depend on the advice of the courier net to give you an idea of the time it will take, most couriers give a time with in a three day period set from the time of collection.
Overseas orders are sent by airmail unless surface mail is specified.
We currently debit credit cards in pounds sterling - this will be converted by your card provider to your local currency.
Cancellation of Order
As a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel your order and receive a refund. You must inform us in writing of your wish to cancel within seven working days starting on the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost.
We advise you to ensure that the goods being returned are insured during any return journey that you organise.
We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any costs incurred sending/collecting the goods. (Please see returns policy below)
Please remember that once you have notified us of your wish to cancel the contract there is a legal requirement for you to ensure the goods are returned in a saleable condition.
What is the Ashford Model Supply Centre Return Policy?
You may return an item to our warehouse or you may choose to bring it back to our store. We accept returns as long as the following conditions are met:
Refunds and exchanges are accepted within 7 working days starting on the day after the delivery date, accompanied by the delivery note.
All refunds require that the item be returned in the original packaging, with all pieces and in original condition (Unused).
Opened packages may only be exchanged for an identical product, if faulty.
Refunds will be applied to the credit card initially used to purchase the item and no other.
For in store returns, the following also applies:
When no receipt is provided, and the item is not an Ashford Model Supply Centre exclusive product, refunds for goods will be given at the discretion of management a credit note will be issued equal to the item’s prevailing price.
If the item being returned was a gift, the refund can be given in the form of a credit note.
Refunds ~ When is my refund processed?
If you choose to bring your item to our store, you will receive your refund at the time of the return. This refund will be either is credited back to the credit card that was used to purchase the item or in the form of a credit note, if the item was a gift.
If you choose to send the item back to our warehouse, your refund may take up to 28 business days from the time we receive your item. The refund will be applied to the credit card that was used to purchase the item.
What is refunded when I return an item?
When you return an entire order you will be refunded the price of the item paid at the time of purchase. When you return less than the entire order you will be refunded the price of the items returned.
If you are returning goods as “not suitable or without cause” we will apply restocking fee of 17.5%, on the products paid value. Items not returned within 7 days of delivery will also incur a restocking charge.
If your order qualified for free shipping, we will also deduct shipping cost from the goods returned.
Returning items to the Ashford Model Supply Centre, how do I return an item?
Option1: Return your goods to the Ashford Model Supply Centre shop.
Please bring your Delivery Note and the complete item in its original packaging with you.
Option2: You can send the items back to our address below.
You must include your Delivery Note with your return.
