Following five years of accelerated expansion our team at the Ashford Model Supply Centre haven't found themselves removed by their initial objective of serving the modelling fraternity and are still inspired by what the customer has to say.  To this end the 10th May 2008 saw the opening of the first Wholesale Planes Model Supply Centre.  The emphasis on UK retail and European wholesale still majors as the greatest part of the business and now with the additional retail availability opening to everyone the future looks very bright.  The new wing to our company conducts business in many disciplines including radio control models, railway stock and accessories, tools and huge collection of fixings and materials.

The Ashford Model Supply Centre will give our customer access to some of the newest radio control models available today means you will be the first to have the newest and most up-to-date models on the field, we'll even let you know when new models are released directly and personally and best of all we promise to reduce the price by a good percentage on every airframe we import. 

Ken & Linda Cooper were responsible for starting the business with an accumulation of fifty five years of sales experience between them.  However, the team who work quietly behind the scenes today include many other individuals who also play a big part in ensuring the success of Wholesale Planes. At the beginning of 2007 the partnership became a limited company recruiting Terry Redman as Operations Director, to ensure the smooth process between company and customer.
